Investigation Of Video Stabilization Technique

In the process of photograph, there are always some shake of the carrier which makes the video output unsteady, it's bad for watching or processing. The aim of video stabilization technique is to eliminate the dithered part of unsteady video and get a steady video output .There are three basic methods to make the video steady: optical image stabilization(OIS), mechanical image stabilization(MIS) and digital image stabilization(EIS). Comparing with the foregoing two methods, the EIS was integrated with the electronic, computer and digital signal processing technique. Because of the smaller volume, the lower cost and the wide usage, the EIS method has been researching widely.This paper makes a systemic research on the EIS. In the existing experiment conditions, we have set up the system of image video stabilization, it is the hardware foundation of the research of video stabilization; On the basis of earnest researching on EIS basic theory, this paper presents a digital video stabilization algorithm based on gray information and feature information, the correlative experiments have reached good stabilization results.
