Military Applying Studies Of Optical Fiber Communications Systems

As there are so many advantages of the optical fiber communication system, it has been playing more and more important part in the modern warfare. Based on analyzing the principle of the optical fiber transmission, the basic structure, the composing part, the performance characteristics, the main apparatus and the key technology of the optical fiber communication system are introduced particularly. Aim at the demand of the military communication in the war field, the applications of the optical fiber communication system in the army tactical C~3I system, the fiber optical guided missile system, the ship-borne correspondence system and the aircraft-borne correspondence system are studied respectively, the main technology and the performance of them are also analyzed. At last, the configuration of the optical fiber communication system network in our tactical command system is designed theoretically, and some suggestions for building our optical fiber communication system are also given.
