The Virtual Instrument is the soft instrument, which instead of corresponding electronic circuitry using special software, makes full use of computer hardware resource to accomplish the function of traditional instruments and makes the software as kernel which has the function of control, processing and analysis. The VI is the modularization and softwarization. The remote virtual instrument is a network expansion of virtual instrument. Remote virtual instruments enable dynamic data acquired from a remote location and control signals sent to a process running at a remote location, which is connected by a LAN or Internet, to be monitored and /or controlled from a local PC. Remote VI technology and network technology are combined to extend the VI's application area to whole Internet and made the signal acquire, transfer and process become a whole unit. This thesis mainly focuses on the implementation method of remote measure and control technology based on the web.Firstly, the researching status, structure and significance of virtual instrument and remote virtual instrument system are introduced in this paper. Secondly, the hardware system of virtual instrument system is studyed, including using DAQ card based on PCI bus and PLC based on serial bus to realize monitoring and controling to actual objects, and mainly studided hardware seclection, system constitutation, communction principle and examples of them. Thirdly, the actual exploitation scheme and process of remote VI system are introduced. At last, the thesis takes the construction of web virtual laboratory as an example and introduces the lab's whole structure, implement mode, remote experiment items and remote visiting control and management etc. Thereinto, in experiment items exploitation, using classical, modern and intelligent control arithmetics in LabVIEW is discussed, and expriments based on these arithmentics are also empoldered, which can provid theory elements for remote control of VI system. At present, this web virtual lab has been trialed in LAN and realized the basic function, and has provided a platform which based on web and using for experiment teaching, technology exchanging, and together studying, thus realized the sharing of hardware instruments of the laboratory. It can exert significant effect in remote experimental teaching as the perfection of its function.The technology studided in this thesis provides some reference function for remote measure and control of mechanical electric control field.
