From analog communication to 2G digital communication, the mobile communication has been well developed. Since the customer's requirement for mobile communication has been increased continuously, the 3G technology has been researched and developed, at the same time, the 3G technology has been widely used in global.The repeater which is a kind of useful radio signal transmission and enlarging facility is used widely to extend and cover the mobile communication blind area and to enlarge the base station signal. As it is low investment, low running cost, relatively short building period and good network quality, and thus effective utilization of repeaters more or less disturb the capabilities of themselves and other equipments, so, the paper researches how to combine the theory analysis and factly usage.The paper described the usage of wcdma technology, analysis the importance of repeater which be used in the mobile communication. combined with my own work, give the general design of wcdma optical fiber repeater. include design principle, spec, calculate and several questions which will be considered during the process of design, especially designed the remote monitor. The paper provide the engineering application analysis basis on the foreground of wcdma repeater, compare the methods about network cover solution, at the end, analyze the interfere between the wcdma and cdma1900, gsm1800, calculate the insulate data. Which be hoped to use in the net contribution later, to perfect the network cover and optimize of wcdma, to guide the network optimizer.
