With the development of medicine and improvement and acceptance of computers, more and more PC technologies are widely used in all fields such as medicine. The intellectual medical monitor system (I.M.M.S) are turning out in the hospitals.I.M.M.S realizes instructions transmission between the working station and ward monitor system with the application of distributive computer-controlling system and general-bus RS485.The monitor system, which takes the single chip AT89C51 as core with the assistance of external circuit, may function as follows: 1) to test the speed of dropping with the aid of the electrical sensors; 2) to test the patients' health parameters such as -blood pressure, pulse and temperature will be tested by the medical sensors and adjustment circuit; 3) when the fluid medicine is below the limit value, the fluid sensor gives out signal. With the help of fuzzy controls method of automatic adjustment, dropping speed may be regulated to the normal one by the step electrical machine.The working stations (W.S.) are working as monitor centers for patients with PC computers. Friendly interface is set up so as for doctors and nurses to manipulate them conveniently. The data such as dropping speed, blood pressure, pulse, body's temperature can be received, displayed, saved and analyzed. The dropping speed of monitor system may be supervised by W.S.The system has advantage of PC computers sources which realize multi-measure, manage, display and alarm. It combines measure-control and calculation character so as to improve the precision in controlling and measuring greatly. It has more powerful extended functions and good prospect in medical application.It will improve the hospitals' standard of nursing and automation management with high efficiency. The system reduces labor intensity.
