The computer networks and communication technologies rapid development and their extensive applications have brought new opportunities and challenges to the remote education. A serious issue to be considered now is defeating priate to protect current remote educational resources and to further boost the remote education's healthy development. Digital Right Management(DRM) technique is a solution to the issue developed for copyright protection under the network environment.Serving both of the practical requirements of remote education resources protection and the concrete requirements of multimedia courseware pirate protection under the network environment ,This paper is trying to discuss how to build a system with technologies to protect the copyright of network digital works through achieving a copyright protection system of net work multimedia courseware and re searching it s, pivotal technologies.The research work mentioned in this paper is mainly about:1. Main factors that lead to pirate about network digital works and more severe position that net work multimedia courseware copyright protection faces are analyzed.And also the significance of building this system is introduced.2. We demonstrate feasibility of building a protection system of network multimedia courseware copyright and its pivotal technologies.3. The goal, the architecture and the modules of this system are described and defined. The kernel function of this system has been realized.4. Finally the feasibility of this research is proved by actual tests aiming at the kernel fuction. .The work this thesis has its universality and can do much help to apply DRM in present streaming media system, which will make the digital media consumption more maturre finally.
