With the rapid development of information technology and the computer networks, the digital multimedia information's (images, text, audio, video, 3D model) storage, reproduction and transmission has become very convenient. We have no arbitrary restrictions to edit, modify, copy and distribute digital music and images, but how can the copyright and economic interests of these digital media's originators be protected and if it is safe and credible to digital media? The issue of information security, the problem of copyright piracy and copyright disputes has become an increasingly serious social problem. In recent years, a new kind of technology which can solve this problem developed very quickly. We call it as digital watermarking technology. It can prove the copyright and track piracy to protect the number of digital objects (such as static images, video, audio, etc.) by embedded some secret information - Watermark (watermark) in them to achieve an effective way to prove that belongs to a tracking violations of copyright protection.In order to let more people familiar with and quickly grasp the basic theory and the algorithm design process of digital watermarking technology, the design of a comprehensive experimental digital watermarking system is a good solution. In this paper, first show the digital watermarking technology and its principles, characteristics, as well as the current status of the application. Then compared the various algorithm to achieve the digital watermarking technology, analysis the superiority of the digital watermarking algorithm based on wavelet transform compared to other typical algorithm. The issue is use wavelet transform theory as the basis of digital watermarking algorithm design and then on how to use Joseph image scrambling for the watermark image processing to enhance the safety of watermark, promote watermark's visual effects. Then according to wavelet transform theory, combine the characteristic of human eye's visual system and image's texture features, put forward an adaptive watermark embedded algorithm theoretical system. And by completing the embedding, extraction and attacks on experiments of watermark image proved that this algorithm is good at watermark image invisible and robustness. Finally, on this basis, use Visual C + + 6.0 development tools design a digital watermarking experimental subsystem which both the watermark image and the host image can be the gray-scale images. The system can complete some experiments as gray watermark's embedding, extracting and robustness detecting.The experimental results show that the system can be very good completed some experiments as the watermark's embedding, extracting and robustness detecting. In addition, the system's design is clear and intuitive, simple for operating, has a very good effect in popularization.
