All microwave systems include many different microwave parts with diversified functions. These parts take on a significant role in the directional transmission and the allocation of microwave energy in microwave systems. It may cause the loss of transmission energy if these parts do not match each other. Therefore matched microwave parts have always been the objective that radio-frequency part designers pursue.As a 3D electromagnetic field simulation software, HFSS of Ansoft company which adopts finite cells method, can handle microwave circuits and part structures of all shapes, as well as electric medium materials, magnetic materials, thin film electric resistance materials, loss conductor materials. Customers use interactive interface to process simulation design by inputting various parameters about the geometric structure of high frequency parts and electric circuits, the types of material, the position of ports, the port characteristics resistance etc. By HFSS this text has finished the simulation design of typical microwave parts with three-ports, four ports, five ports, six ports, and the input reflectance of multi-ports microwave parts. It also discusses the effect of match performance with frequency variation about structure size variation, and offers the choice gist of microwave part size.In the text the match of three-ports part carries out by joining one non-mutual ferrite column in the junction area. Wider frequency can be gotten and every port achieves favorable match by adjusting the column radius.The matching of four ports part adopts two match methods. They are metal column and septum, metal round taper and column. For the magic T of metal column and septum, the variable is many. First you can optimize each variable and analyze them, finally synthetically consider all optimal and analytical results. Then the magic T gets better matching and preferable frequency trait. The magic T of column and round taper gets good matching effect and wider frequency trait by adjusting diameter and height of the matched column. Because the reflectance of middle frequency is low, and the bandwidth of frequency is wider, so the performance of the part is better.The shape of the five ports junction matching part is metal column. At last the better match of all port can be gotten by adjusting the metal column radius.The shape of the six ports junction matching part separately adopts metal column and metal hexahedron. The better match all can be gotten by adjusting their radius. Secondly the simulation result tells us the capability of metal hexahedron is better than that of metal column. On the side this text has designed one kind of six ports junction with E side. The good match and the wider frequency bandwidth of six ports junction with E side come true by adjusting the radius of the matched metal column.By the simulation analysis and the optimal design about many kinds of microwave part with multi-ports, the choice gist about relevant parameters of the matching parts is obtained. The text is valued in designing the microwave part with multi-ports.
