In this thesis global position system (GPS) is depicted generally first, and analyze the method of position, task mode position, and classification of GPS receiver.The key problem of GPS receiver is how to treat with the signal of satellite, so carrier wave phase measure is expatiated particularly in this paper, and particularly study on static measure.On hardware, the desire mainly adopt set parts provided by ZARLINK company and independent develop receiver board, and accomplish hardware design through lots of parts of apparatus and rigorous environmental test.The core the GPS receiver software is differential global position system (DGPS), which is the use of differential correction data for the satellites in view, to eliminate coordinate error of the GPS receiver. It can improve GPS ware precision. This paper expatiate GPS receiver software design through three aspect, which include GPS baseline parsing and calculating, baseline vector net average difference, GPS vertical, and basically complete parameter setting and differential calculating.Through the design of software and hardware and part upgraded, now the new products have been finished and have been sell.In this paper, I depict the theory of GPS in one chapter. In two chapter, I describe the carrier wave phase. In three chapter, I expatiate the process of hardware designing and debugging program. In four, five and six chapter, I analyze the precision of the GPS software design and arithmetic.
