Logging Data Coding Interface Design

The logging data coding interface(LDCI) is a circuit module in order to realize logging tool signal real-time gathering and transmission ,its realization is simple, and communication is reliable ,by which many kinds of downhole tool can be combined to carry on the well logging. Under the control of the surface system, LDCI carry on sampling, processing, coding the signal from the downhole tool string, then transmit to the surface system, more than ten parameters can be measured simultaneously.This article introduced the brief principle of logging data gathering and transmission. The hardware and the software design concept of the logging data coding interface is introduced in detail, including the data gathering, the sound wave logic decoding, the data encoding transmission, the pulse digitization, communication between the interface and the tool string.
