Research And Design Of Embedded PCMCIA Wireless NIC

There are wide application area and markets for Wireless NIC (Network Interface Card), and it is becoming the rapid increasing point in embedded system research domain. Combined the Wireless Network and Embedded System is adapt of the developing of the technology and demand of the application. That can extend the application in Electronic Science and Technology. This research obeys the standard design process of embedded system. Firstly, introduce the whole process of research and development for an type of wireless NIC which is based on the PC/104 embedded panel. The PCMCIA wireless NIC design method and idea are proposed, implement of the the hardware of PCMICA interface and set of drive of interface chip.Consider the application of this research in the armed Police Monitoring system. This thesis design the terminal equipment using wireless data transmission based on the PC/104 panel. Over all, we proposed an solution about the terminal which is designed and developed in this research is applied in armed Police third layer communication network for the future wireless netting.
