Research And Design Of Fieldbus Asset Management System

With the development of control system, the requirements on the field measurement and the performance of the controlling equipment are also improved. To make the assets maintenance having more scientific basis, they not only require the assets provide the process information, but also provide their own diagnostic information, management information, and other non-control information. Foreign asset management system has been able to achieve the basic management for inteligent asset, but in contrast, the level of research at home is lower. So this paper proposes asset management system which is in an integrated platform for different manufacturers to achieve the functions including commission,configuration, maintenance and calibration. It provides integrated solutions about prevcntative maintenance, predictive maintenance and proactive maintenance for asset.The paper first designes the system whole network model that useing C / S model, then designes bridge and software module structure according to the function of the system requirements. There are two drive technology for field asset, but their application area is different, and then the major device vendors support different technology. It can not meet the operational requirements of each other simply use any of the technology .So this paper proposes DD and FDT technology work together to achieve integration of equipment, according to the complexity of the equipment this paper gives three methods to achieve the equipment integration and describes in detail about FDT / DTM (Device Type Manager) realization and generic DTM based on DD technology realization. This paper introduces the realization of asset management system. First is the realization of control level, which is the Ethernet structure and uses TCP / IP protocol, the control level contains engineers station, operator station and application station to achieve different functions. The database in this system using object-oriented SQL Server technology and variable-scale, it is suitable for all sizes of project management, the asset management system and factory data are linked seamless through OPC server.Finally, this paper introduces the testing results of this research, The asset management system which is based on DD and FDT technology has more flexible choice for asset. It is truly realize the device fully integrated, besides this management system has been tested and achieved user's requirement-real-time communication, database on server for field bus asset management and distributed client access for asset information.
