All-optical buffer becomes the key component in All-optical network which could buffer packets in optical domain and solves the packet-collision in optical switching node. This paper presents a novel erasable all-optical buffer which introduces a dual-semiconductor optical amplifier configuration on the basis of Dual -loop optical buffer, DLOB. The innovations of this configuration are as follows:1. Realizing the "read/write" control through different control laser. Because of the power distortion of the signal packet, different power of the control laser will be need .This configuration could adjust the "read/write" control laser separately which solves the problem successively.2. Dual-SOA configuration uses two ports to "write in" and "read ouf"signal packet separately .This overcomes the problem of signal "leakage" successively which introduced by the action of writing in signal packet.3. On the condition of same input signal power, Dual-SOA configuration compensates the signal power effectively and will enhance the storing time when compared to single-SOA configuration. What I have done are as follows:1. Introduce a temperature control circuit design. Analyze the temperature controltheory in detailed and debug the experiment circuit.A resistance-temperature fitting curve of the matching resistance is achieved forthe first time with the temperature error of±0.03℃which makes theexperiment simpler.2. Present a novel erasable all-optical buffer .Analyze the power need of the controllaser and packets length restriction on this Dual-SOA configuration .Analyze the buffering theory without signal "leakage".3. The 2.5 GB/s signal packets are read out successively after Multi-circle's buffering which demonstrates the correctness of the theory at the same time.
