| With the high development of personal data communications, people are not satisfied with accessing to Internet immovably. Broadband wireless access is future development trend in the field of communication. The development of CNGI mobile terminal is an important component of broadband wireless access, and MAC data services function is one of key technology in CNGI mobile terminal.So implementation of MAC data services function is of great practical significance.According to the wireless LAN standards, data services function of the MAC are studied in the thesis. With the technology of the network protocol implementation of Linux kernel, the design of CNGI mobile terminal MAC layer is put forward and MAC data services function of mobile terminal is implemented. CNGI and the development of the mobile terminals are introduced in the thesis. Then MAC protocol of mobile terminals was researched. The function of DCF and the encapsulation, decapsulation, fragmentation and defragmentation of the frame are described afterwards. Based on these, CSMA/CA and accessing methods are analyzed in detail. In addition, the data link layer network architecture of network protocols in Linux kernel is analyzed and researched particularly. In this way, the implementation of MAC data services function can be integrated with Linux network protocols.the thesis is mainly focus on the design of MAC data services function and the implementation of detailed function.Finaly, MAC data services function is implemented,and mobile terminal can send and receive data packets.A method to implement MAC data services function is adopted in the thesis, which is by the partition of MAC modules and analysis of data flow in the process of sending-receiving, the entire communication process of MAC protocol can be easily implemented. The Linux operating system with embedded systems development technology which is introduced in the thesis is a very competitive technology, a good price, performance and portability. |
