The power rating and the heat dissipation increases dramatically as the density of the electronic circuit on computer's processor increasing. Therefore, the heat pipe, which uses the phase transition of the working fluid, is widely adopted in the cooling system for processor. In order to ensure the quality of heat transfer performance of heat pipe in the mass production, a system for measuring the heat transfer performance of heat pipe was redesigned in accordance with the character and work condition of heat pipe, that is also called Qgo-nogo measuring system, which main include heat pipe, heating system, cooling system and testing system. The heating system is developed with the fin model of heat transfer and controlled the temperature of the simulate processor, which was tested the heat pipe if it can be dissipated the set temperature of the simulate processor less than the specification in the limited time. Visual Basic6.0 as operation system and established an integrated measuring method of the heat transfer performance of heat pipe. The measurable capability of the whole measuring system is verified by average and range method and ANOVA method base on the related requirements of QS9000 or ISO/TS16949 system for measuring system. Finally, a test example was detailed illustrated the operating method of the measuring system. The test result also verified that the delta T, Tcase temperature, Qin, thermal resistance Rhp and etc. can be fulfilling the need in the mass production.
