Oxygen is important to some fields, such as iron and steel, smelt, treatment. So industries have manufactured oxygen by many methods. In the work flow of making oxygen by separating air, some external factors will affect directly the oxygen quality. It is a crucial problem that how to improve the high quality.The paper has designed the quality controlling system to make oxygen by separating air. It has combined artificial intelligence's relating technology, mainly combine nerve network and expert system. On the base of a lot of computer's scientific research achievements, and the newly achievements of utilizing comprehensively nerve network and expert system in all kinds of professions, the paper has studied and practiced the quality controlling system, and has made progress. According to nerve network's features, the paper has compared the algorithm between forward network and cycle network, analyzed the pattern between BP and Hopfield, and at last define one to forecast the oxygen's quality; the paper also has utilized the type, structure and working principle of the expert system, it's purpose is to control promptly and accurately the abnormal circumstances happened in the system, judging by the designing steps of the expert system, developed the abnormal handling expert system.
