The sonic testing system for pressure vessel study the sonic transmitting regulation in metal material, then we use horizontal vibrancy to build a mathematic model though sonic parameters and the structure, strength parameters of pressure vessel. Then compared it with standard quality parameters of pressure vessel, so we could pick up the characteristic of pressure vessel's structure defect and evaluate the quality. Though the method, we make the detecting of and performance parameters (strength, rigidity) come true. We complete software and hardware design of USB interface, so we could output the data to computer after the sonic detecting for the pressure vessel. Then analyze the affection of change of pressure vessel's structure and size to acoustic parameter, so we can detect many kinds of pressure vessel and the sundries in the process of material producing, even we can discover the small fault beyond the structure of inside or outside though the non-destructing detection. The model machine we design has high precision, high pace and steady function, the theory of horizontal vibrancy make testing data more credible. it may nondestructive detect small crack of the produces one by one on line, it can satisfy the nondestructive detection for many kinds of pressure vessel. At the same time, the system is advanced because of designing of USB interface, a convenient way has blazed for detecting data, also it is a base for exploiting other outer equipment.
