Over the past few years, global e-commerce has maintained growing by double-digit annually. Network Marketing has become an important component of the company sale. However, with e-commerce market maturing, the growth rate of online transactions will be slower. In order to enhance market competitiveness, e-commerce companies the one hand need to continue to attract new users, on the other hand, improve the loyalty of old users and increases the frequency and amount of their repeat transactions.RIAs, that is Rich Internet Applications, has both rich performance of desktop applications and network connectivity characteristic of web applications. It relies on mature development platform. It is low cost and easy to deploy. Applied to E-commerce, RIAs lets users have better experience and be more satisfied with lower cost and also strongly improves market competitiveness of E-business companies.Firstly, this paper involves some relevant knowledge of RIAs and technologies to build RIAs and mainly introduces three mainstream technologies which are Ajax, Flex and Silverlight. Secondly, under the guidance of RIAs and e-commerce theory, through analysis of practical application of RIAs, this paper makes an in-depth studiy on differences of using different technologies to build RIAs, and contrasts these different techniques to get their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, a complete set of e-commerce platform construction solution based on RIAs is put forward with the choice of advanced and applicable one from these different technologies. This solution provides some ideas to the research and development of next-generation of e-commerce platform and gives some suggestions to the existing e-commerce companies.
