As for individualized modeling and controlling of 3D virtual human body so far, reducing the cost and computation quantity of constructing 3D body model and shortening its cycle life are the most popular problems which need to be solved urgently in the field of 3D virtual reality modeling and controlling. The individualized, real time and efficient modeling and controlling of 3D virtual human body become the development trend of the virtual human body modeling.Therefore, exploring 3D virtual human modeling method is of comprehensive value in research and prospect for application. Individualized, real-time, modeling and controlling human body efficiently is becoming the trendency of the virtual human body modeling.This thesis starts with realization of 3D virtual human body modeling, in the form of converse engineering, to research and construct the platform on modeling and controlling 3D virtual human body, and achieves the goal which is to model 3D virtual human body timely through choosing suitabel sample model to carry on two cycles' controlling and modeling process. The whole process costs less expense and time.The main contributions of this thesis can be summarized as follows:(1) We make improvement on the process of 3D human body modeling, and put forward the converse engineering. According to the converse engineering, we design every module which happens in the process and interrelated algorithm.(2) The classification of the human body sample is improved in the thesis, and we use support vector machine to classify sample instead, which makes classification particular and sample more similar to congeneric one in shape, and is easier to find and select the suitable sample to take reconstruction. It could choose the optimal sample model based on the controlling cost of objective human body model during the filter period.(3) We achieve the 3D body shape controlling by the VRML model's figure and compensatory modeling. For the verisimilitude and smooth of model, the 3D human body model should be subdivided optimistially after finishing the controlling operation to get the object model, so we could finally meet the demands of verisimilitude and smooth in the field of 3D body modeling.(4) We design and realize the system of 3D virtual human body, including implementation of global blue print of design with the system framework, internal programme and module, and put forward the project that 3D virtual human body system can be applied on WEB-based system. Moreover, we design some WEB modules and interface on .NET platform each other.How to set up 3D virtual body modeling system is described in this thesis, and we provide the solution plan for desigining 3D virtual body model.
