The Research And Design Of Electron Whiteboard In Mobile Police System Based On CSCW

The subject comes from the project "the Police Mobile System based on collaborative" of the Public Security Bureau in Henan Province. As a sub-system of mobile police system, the thesis designs a CSCW-based mobile whiteboard to improve the efficiency of police officers at different places communion, and further improve the system of mobile police.The thesis first describes the background and summarizes significance of mobile whiteboard system, analyzes the features and common frameworks of the existing whiteboard in the PC environment, and studies the theory of CSCW and Agent technology, and shows the advantages of a combination of both applied to mobile whiteboard based on the analysis of features of mobile network. Then, an overall scheme of mobile whiteboard system is given, including the global structure, function modules, flow designs and so on. The key skills include Agent technology to deal with weak connectivity of mobile network; "semi-optimistic-lock" concurrent control algorithm to deal with conflicts in multi-user; serial Agent messages of the communications to solve the problem of "later comer", users' voice controlled by Chairman controlling pattern.Finally, based on above researches, the paper describes the implement process of system on the J2ME platform in detail, and analyses the key of system, for example data structure, multi-threading technology, net connectting in mobile environment, data parsing and compression. The system supports interacting with diagram of mutli-users in mobile environment. The experiment result can achieve the requirements of design.
