With the development of the computer network technology, IPv4 addresses couldn't be satisfied with requirements of the people all over the world. The new generation network uses IPv6 addresses, and it will become larger, faster, and more safely. For this purpose, China puts forward to construct the China Next Generation Internet (CNGI) and the second generation of China Education and Research computer network (CERNET 2). The CNGI storage system, the next generation Internet intelligence network storage system and the storage node B in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, is the background of the Object Storage Target (OST)'s mirror image in Distributed File System (DFS).With the technology of the China Next Generation Internet (CNGI) project, the second generation of China Education and Research computer network (CERNET2) and the related network storage, designing the object storage target's mirror image in distributed file system. Object storage target's mirror image is in the storage server, which is three-direction communication in all of the distributed file system, giving the data redundancy for distributed file system's data storage, so that the coursing of the three-direction communication can't have data lost because of the invalidation of a storage node, improving the reliability of the system.Next on the basis of the object storage target's mirror image in distributed file system, giving the design plan of the object storage target's mirror image, including the module design of the zero layer, first layer and the second layer. Next introduces the design of the Lustre OST mirror image, related to the preceding three layers'design, mainly introduces the implementation of the second layer, including the start, I/O proceeding and uninstall technological process. After the realization of the distributed file system, completing the installation and configuration, through testing of Xdd and IOzone to display the performance of the distributed file system, through the Windows Server displays the capability of the distributed file system.
