Physical simulation experiment on geological structures is an effectivemethod to research the geological structures and is an important method forthe geologists to understand the deformation process and research theformation mechanism of the structure. This paper researches thethree-dimensional shape measurement technique of structure superface inthe physical simulation experimental facility. This technique can obtain thesuperface contour information of the experimental subject and realize thequantitativemeasurementofthedeformationofthesuperface.Phase three-dimensional profilometry is a common three-dimensionalprofilometry using reflection. It has many advantages such as non-contact,high speed, high accuracy, massive data, and so on. More and moreattentions have been paid on it. This paper elaborates the basic principle ofthe time-domain phase measurement profilometry. Besides, this paperanalyzes and simulates the key techniques of the time-domain phasemeasurement profilometry. This paper mainly analyses the error factorswhich have influence on the measuring accuracy and propose the methodsfor increasing the measuring accuracy. This paper has done the followingthreeworks. (1) This paper proposes the algorithm for unwrapping phase based onthe minimum quadratic multiplication method and compares it with thetraditionalphase-steppingalgorithmwithanarbitrarystep.(2) This paper researches the optimization of random phase shiftingerror on the time domain phase measurement profilometry. A correctionmodel of the random phase shifting error with an arbitrary step isestablished to using the simulated annealing algorithm to realize theoptimization estimation of the random phase shifting error. This algorithmcanoptimizetherandomphaseshiftingerroraccurately.(3) This paper researches the unwrapping phase correction algorithm ofrandom phase shift error in the time domain phase measurementprofilometry. In order to increase the accuracy, we deduce the algorithm forthe unwrapping phase that contains the random phase shift error with anarbitrary step based on minimum quadratic multiplication method. Theexperiment results show that this algorithm can eliminate the effect ofrandomphaseshifterrorandincreasetheaccuracy.
