The Design Of The IC Card Gas-Fired Meter

This paper focuses on designing an IC card gas-fired meter with prepaidpurpose.And the content comes from a project of a SuZhou gas-fired producer--IC cardgas-fired meter and IC card reader and gas sell management system. As one of thedeveloper of this project, I am in charge of the IC card gas-fired meter. According to therequirement of the market, we make sure that the gas-fired meter should have thefunction of computation, control, encrypt, display, remember, etc.The meter is composedof two parts: hardware and software. The hardware is a circuit board designed around thehost MCU-MC68HC908JL3 of Freescale.The hardware contains the host MCU'Speripheral circuit, the controlling tie wire, the IC card's interface circuit, the valueactuator and feedback circuit, the signal circuit resistant to magnetization, the measuringcircuit, the voltage monitoring circuit, the buzzer's circuit and the LCD'S driving circuit,etc. Some own programs reside in the host MCU. The programs include the plug-incard's disposal program of the IC card, the precise measuring program, the secure switchprogram of the value, the protecting program against the magnetization, the informationdisplay program for the system's alarm-reporting. What's more, an IC card basedreader-writer is devised for the sell of gas. Because the reader-writer can communicatewith personal computer, it can access and manage its user's information. This paperexposed the design background, design conception and implement approach of softwareand hardware. Beside that this paper also provides in-depth analysis on technologicalmain point. In addition, the author also participation designs has written development ofthe IC card based writer with it necessary use IC card, was responsible torealize to theuser IC card information access partial work. The article writes the card function to thisto carry on the brief description.
