This article mainly studies the algorithm and technology of the digital compass system. In the aspect of line-drawing, after analyzing the custom anti-aliased line algorithm, the thesis improved the anti-aliased line algorithm based on Bresenham algorithm—sub pixel anti-aliased algorithm, and removed the saw-tooth and tingle phenomenon in the process of dynamic display. At the display of characters, by analyzing the anti-aliased algorithm of lattice character and pointing out the problems of compass displaying environments, the thesis adopted the way of vector character. Based on the improved anti-aliased algorithm, the thesis achieved an anti-aliased vector character which is flexible and has high qualities in display. The storage of character data has more advantages than traditional lattice character. Besides,in order to realize stroke curve of vector characters efficiently,this thesis advanced a flexible and practical algorithm of sloving curve controlling point based on three-times Bezier curve. In the aspect of computer animation, the thesis gave an improved animation algorithm. At last, according to a series of anti-aliased algorithm, and in the DirectDraw emulation environments based on Windows2000 operation system, the thesis has made many practices and obtained a very nice result.
