With the rapid development of the economic and material life day by day, it is the urgent need to maintain ecological environment and improve environmental quality more and more. Some research achievements have indicted already: inhalable particulates in the atmosphere have important influence on human health and ecological environment. Among the cities which exceed standard of the air quality, 68% of them exist the problems of inhalable particulates pollution. Recently, many countries have researched on inhalable particulates. The particulates measure technology has been a hot point for research.Air particulates measure meter was a device to measure air quality. It was used to measure the contents of solid particulates and dust in air. Because of lots of merit, such as small volume, endurance, lightness, can work with battery, it was fit to the open environment, the unfixed environment and the workshop.In this dissertation, the author emphasized on the research and develops on 16-bit high performance that took intelligent air particulate measure meter as control objective. In this system, PID control strategy was applied. In the system, the DC motor was controlled by the SCM, then the air pump worked and the air to be measured flowed through the filtration meshwork, so the particulates in the air was gathered on the filtration meshwork. The flow velocity of the air keep constant, by PID controller, used the air flow pressure which measured with pressure sensor as the feedback variable. At the meantime, set the work time of the air pump. Then figured out the contents of solid particulates and dust in air in according to the flow velocity of the air, the work time and the particulates weight which weighed with the weight meter. Furthermore, the heterogeneity of the air can be analyzed with the specifical experiments.
