Designing And Developing Of Material Supply Management Information System

In the integration process of enterprise logistics, information flow and capital flow, material supply department has become the focus information sector.The so-called material management is the contradictions settlement between the supply and demand of the time, space, volume, variety, price , specifications , quality and so no, linking the production of all aspects to ensure smooth production,through the use of materials applications, purchase, transportation, storage, custodian, as well as their use. Materials flow throughout the production, operation and management create logistics, whether logistics is reasonable and unimpeded, have a direct impact on the enterprises production and operation activities. On the one hand, the purchase price will determine the enterprises cost of raw materials. In the same production and sales, the purchase savings will make a significant boost profits and increase efficiency. The other hand, transport, storage, handling and stock management have direct impact on the operating costs of enterprises.ChiTianHua Company Limited Material Supply MIS (hereinafter referred to the Material Supply MIS) that this text put forward is for material consumer, material planning, material custodians, enterprise management and leader. The system uses a relatively mature software technology and tools, object-oriented UML is applied to software requirement analysis. Software system uses C/S architecture, software development tools is Sybase PowerBuilder 10 Enterprise Edition. Database is SYBASE ASE 15 Enterprise Edition. The system design fit the enterprise actual needs. The system replace some manual work as: purchasing and providing materials, monitoring the implementation of the contract, the automatic preparation of purchase plans, accounting, reports generation and so on. The system also provide inventory query, bills query, consumption query , plans query, contract inquiry, the execution analysis query of plans and contract, the management data analysis query. The system made more extensive information circulating and management, combinating with the enterprise financial management system.
