Newspaper News In Narratological Perspective

In today's society, the competition of paper industry has becomefiercer, even have reached the melting point. With the development ofMarket economy and modem communication technology, the focus ofcompetition has turned from traditional exclusive news to news exclusiveexpression. Newspaper not only needs to provide useful information incontent, but also we could get a real and objective text effect from itsform or its expressing way, the reader could touch and feel the facts fromthe news.News is a report on fact taking place recently, no doubt, news is anarrative. So in this paper some idea and method of narratologie will beused to research the internal laws of newspaper narrative, and theformation of the real and objective text effect. I wish that this paper couldgive theoretical guide to the journalist, and could provide a newtheoretical mode and scientific tool to research news writing.There are three parts in this paper. In first chapter, some points aboutnarrative, news narrative, and newspaper narrative will be introduced, andthere will also be a comparison and analysis between news narrative andfiction narrative, between newspaper narrative and non-newspapernarrative. The heading of second chapter is narrator of newspapernarrative, in this chapter the author mainly introduces the conception andfunction of narrator of newspaper narrative, and analyzing characteristicsand rhetoric functions of several kinds of narrator in newspaper narrative.The third chapter is devoted to the narrative perspective of newspapernarrative, mainly discusses the rhetoric function and using tactics ofdifferent kinds of perspective in newspaper narrative.In newspaper narrative, there is strength and weakness within all kinds of narrator and perspective. So in newspaper narrative we shouldadopt the tactics of analyzing different problems in different ways,according to the very news source to find out the best suitable narratorand narrative perspective within several kinds of narrator and narrativeperspective. Only in this way, we could get a real and objective text effectfrom newspaper narrative, and make the reader enjoy reading.
