Researching Of Autonomous Science Research Knowledge Sharing Based On Ontology

Knowledge explosion and technology development desire a great deal work to catch up, especially for scientific researchers,who should grasp the latest knowledge and the newest technology for their study and research. In that,"Researching of Autonomous Knowledge Sharing System Based on Ontology"is proposed. This project aids scientific researchers in information retrieval and knowledge obtaining.As the preliminary work of this project, this paper use ontology technology in local environment. Ontology is a shared formalization of a conceptualization of a domain, to state a popular definition. In order to facilitate knowledge reusing and sharing, the explanation between concepts and their relationships must be given. To get domain knowledge, we design and implement a prototype system which included an ontology editing tool, an ontology adding tool and an ontology querying tool.Under the background above, the paper carries out researching on ontology techniques. The research focuses on the following fields: the grammar of ontology representation languages OWL, the method of ontology building, the technology of ontology analysis, the design and implementation of a prototype system based OWL. The research route combines theory with practice. On the basis of a through analysis of key ontology techniques, research status and development tread, we analysis the ontology representation language OWL, design a prototype system which is based OWL, implement the prototype system in C# uder Microsoft .NET2003 environment, research on the building techniques of ontologies, and finally build a science research information ontology using prototype system.This paper designs and implements a prototype system, which can acquire science research knowledge ontology, we can add and query instance from the ontology. The prototype system make the acquiring of shared domain knowledge and the reusing and sharing of domain knowledge possible, and also make the foundation of further research such as ontology inference.
