Research of Robot soccer is an interesting and complex nature of the emerging field in artificial intelligence. It involves several competing high-tech activities, such as a real-time vision system, robot control, wireless communications, and multi-robot control. The research of Robot soccer has turned our interest from the studies of single agent into the studies of the development of multi-agent system, and turned the studies of static into those of dynamic development environment as well. What's more, it has aroused great interest into the studies of real-time problem solving progress. In some senses, the robot soccer can be viewed as the second milestone in the field of application of artificial intelligence, following the great success of computer chess, which has already brought artificial intelligence technology to a new level. However, necessary equipments, facilities, environmental conditions for real-world robot soccer are harsh, thus the robot soccer simulation games appears instead. The simulation games, by providing a standard platform for the experimental test, promoted multi-agent system in real-time decision-making environment of confrontation and path planning issues.Robot Soccer Simulation Competition is a hotspot in the field of robot intelligence. Robot soccer competitions combined the simulation of decision-making and response, path planning, genetic algorithms and intelligent control subjects, which is a good platform for multi-agent study. The contribution of this paper involves:1. Understanding and familiarization of AI-RCJ with the whole simulation platform competition of the system components and operation of the principle.2. The typical soccer robot path planning methods.3. Basic robot action planning in Robot Simulation System.4. The fundamental concept of the Grid algorithm and Dijkstra's algorithm (a path planning algorithm)...
