The Integration Of Competitive Intelligence And Knowledge Management

Competitive intelligence and knowledge management are becoming the important competitive means and management tools of the enterprises in the 21^th century. As two different methods to improve the competitive capacity, the integration of competitive intelligence and knowledge management can impel the exploitation and utilization of knowledge, increasing the capability of innovation and flexibility of the enterprises. It is the keystone of the enterprises' development in the knowledge economy era.Firstly, some basic theories about competitive intelligence and knowledge management are introduced. The author analyzes and summarizes the differences and similarities between them, then the theoretical base of the integration was discussed. After summarizing the domestic and overseas research situation of the integration, the author puts out a theoretic thought that using the knowledge value chain make a study of the integration of competitive intelligence and knowledge management.After Some related theories about value chain and knowledge value chain introduced in the third chapter, a integration research model based on the analysis of knowledge value chain is created according to the activities of competitive intelligence and knowledge management.In the forth chapter, the realization of the integration of competitive intelligence and knowledge management is discussed, including the technical methods and some assistant knowledge activities.
