The Study Of P2P-based Distributed Search Engine System

With the Internet's rapid development, people are enjoying the rich network resources, but the network services that meet the users' individuality needs are deficient .So, the incisive contradiction appears between the huge digitized network information and the limited ability of gaining information ,which is prominent day by day with the rapid inflation of the network and its resources. In the certain degree the search engine has resolved this contradiction, but there are some problems awaited to be solved urgently, such as how to achieve the retrieval of Multimedia information, how to enhance the retrieval efficiency in the magnanimous data and how to store the magnanimous data effectively.It has become the research direction of the next generation search engine technology . At present the popular peer-to-peer network has many merits, such as decentralization, load balance ,scalability and so on , which provides the possibility to solve the above problems .Based on the study of the P2P technology and the search engine technology ,this article integrates the local spreading search technology and the P2P Chord protocol ,and proposes a solution of the based-P2P distributional search engine(PPDSE) which reduces the issue of similarity and bring two benefits( distribution of the storage and parallelization of the time-comsuming query execution ). It is advanced in the technology and feasible in the operation..The PPDSE solution contains two modules which are the PPDSE Agent module and the PPDSE Pocket module. The PPDSE Agent module provides the registration service, which is the intelligent agent service center of the PPDSE solution.. The PPDSE Pocket module is the most core module of the PPDSE solution, which contains three structures: the application level for users, the control level and the data level. The application level provides the functions of searching and uploading data resource for users. The control level uses the local spreading search technology which gathers the kind of information and constructs the information tree, transforming the similar measure questions in multi-dimensional space into the gap question in the one-dimensional metric space. The data level provides the fast localization mechanism of resources ,the effective route mechanism of points and the parallel processing mechanism , and it put forward the SE-Chord algorithm which makes the local spreading search technology apply on the Chord protocol.
