The Research And Application Of Data Warehouse In The Website Evaluation Of Science And Technology Department

The governmental website evaluation is an important part of e-government construction. But the lengthways evaluation and analysis of aiming at a certain domain of governmental function department (such as technical department, industry and commerce department, educational department, water conservancy department and so on) is also indispensable.This dissertation is supported by the soft topic plan project of national science and technology department under the title of "the e-government investigation and the development pattern research of science and technology system in the eastern area of China". By collecting the website evaluation data of science and technology system in the eastern area of China, how to apply the data warehouse(DW), on line analytical processing(OLAP) and data mining(DM) to the website evaluation of science and technology department is studied mainly from the theory and practice.The characteristic of DW of science and technology department is introduced by this dissertation, then the systemic structure is analyzed.We have designed the data model, including the concept model, the logic model and the physical model. By constructing the data market facing the website evaluation theme of science and technology department, the Data Cube of science and technology departments in the eastern area of China is constructed, the Data Cube is the model of OLAP which based on the website evaluation DW. And the multidimensional and analytical function of slice,dice,pivot,dirll down and roll up has been used to execute on line analytical processing, The general status of website evaluation is observed and analyzed by many angles and layers. About the website evaluation result of science and technology department in the eastern area of China, the service of website content and the quality of website construction is better, but the service of website function including working in the website and public communion is weak correspondingly, which will be the working emphases of science and technology department. How to apply the method of desicision-tree to the classing of science and technology department and How to apply the method of clustering to the grouping of science and technology department has been studied. Then the DM tool of Microsoft has been applied to the website evaluation of science and technology departments in the eastern area of China to judge the interrelation of the score of website and the local economy in order to support the decision of science and technology departments.It is shown that the theory can be applied to the practice well.By studying the demonstration, the general website evaluation problem of science and technology departments in the eastern area of China has been realized entirely and deeply. Consequently it is useful to build the website evaluation DW of national science and technology departments by the DW developing model of "from the bottom to the top". Then we can find the existing website evaluation problem of national science and technology departments generally and deeply. We hope it can promote and accelerate the development of the website evaluation theory and practice of national science and technology departments.
