Hu Sanxing was a famous literature artist between song dynasty and yuan dynasty. With his life the time, Hu Sanxing completed the work of the note for Zi Zhi Tong Jian independently. The entire book has 294 volumes and carries on the massive illustrations, annotation its pronunciation and meaning, examines its similarities and differences, corrects its errors and missions, distinguishes clearly its historical evidence for the mentioned content in Zi Zhi Tong Jian. The note of Zi Zhi Tong Jian which not only supplements lots of historical evidence but also provides enormous convenience for reading Zi Zhi Tong Jian, has the extremely high academic price.The scholars have conducted thorough research to the note of Zi Zhi Tong Jian since it has been published. But, 20th century 40's Chen Yuan's works of Tong Jian Hu Zhu Biao Wei are affect in a big way. Hereafter, the research paper about this book increases unceasingly and the research field of vision also unceasingly expands. On the foundation which the predecessor studied, This article attempts to inspect and summarize the literature achievement in the note of Zi Zhi Tong Jian.The thesis was composed of five parts. The first part briefly introduces the book of the note of Zi Zhi Tong Jian, the present conditions of study. The second part is about the life simple introduction of Hu Sanxing, the edition spreads. The third part mainly says the great achievement on hermeneutics. It include explanations of words in ancient books characteristic ways and content of textual research, such as annotate word, annotate sentence, etc. fourth, the author examines lots of wrongly characters, checks wrongly characters about Zi Zhi Tong Man and consummates some ways of textual criticism. The fifth part, the note of Zi Zhi Tong Jian in liberating critical study gets to success. Including personage, historical fact, objects, moral customs, government system, institutions and geography, etc. last, this paper introduces other achievements of the note of Zi Zhi Tong Man, for example, preservating lots of ancient times literature material, adding history commentary to annotation, value history events advancement and beginning to end.
