Design And Implementation Of The Distance Education Support System Based On MVC

The TOSS system is a Tele-Education platform developed by Network Department of the Beijing University School of Medicine, the execution standard is the national Ministry of Education's distance learning standard, SCORM,AICC standard. The tele-education platform conforms to the characteristics of Chinese in study with the student, the teacher, the educational administration, the manager and so on four kind of roles, Realizing the traditional school organization to be on-line hypothesized, providing the quickly consummates solution for business and the education training organization rapid development distance learning.The TOSS system is based on the MVC development pattern, using the Struts+Spring+Hibernate frame to carry on the development. These three technologies have focused, for a large project than to achieve optimum performance, must be combined to play their respective advantages .In the TOSS system, Sturts is responsible for the presentation layer, Spring is responsible for the operational level, and Hibernate is for Presistenca layer.The article mainly focuse on the following aspects:1.Investigation of social significance of tele-education platform;2. A brief intriduction of TOSS system;3.Learning theory knowledge of the TOSS system ,such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate;4. Completion the design of TOSS system,such as Service flow, service class and database5. Implementation of TOSS system.
