Logistics Tracing System Based On Web And GSM

This research is based upon the logistics development project of Huafei Institute, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, sponsored by Shanxi Mobile Company. Its aim is to supply a platform of purchasing products, testing quality and managing in an informatization for telecom companies, and to make the logistic purchasing to realize automatization. By analysis of the market, I find that our country has been falling behind the developed countries and the world logistic industry's development in logistic tracing system. Based on the platform, I take the logistic tracing system as my master thesis. And combine my special study of network, mobile positioning and logistic informatization, realize the basic skill of this tracing system, and in the same time make it to be used in the relative industries.Firstly I analyze the logistics industry's policy, the application status of the logistics tracing system and the need that this system must be constructed with a low cost and a high security. In the macro aspect, make out the feasibility of using the network and the mobile positioning. Meanwhile in the next chapters I analyze the web technology and GSM SMS from the theory to the practice. In the end I construct the system, complete the configuration of several systematic modules and the function regulation; use MVC programming design module to realize the key system function, and innovate its application and theory, enhance its veracity and security. The aim of this research is to strengthen the management and construction of logistics informatization, follow up the developing trend in this industry, make the best of the network resources, and in the precondition of high security and low expense introduce the network and mobile positioning to the logistics tracing system, in the last enhance the grade of electronic commerce and utilization of resources.In the process of realizing the system, I strengthen the relative theory research, such as JSP, Java, Structs and MVC frame based on the web application, the mobile positioning based on the GSM network and the future 3G mobile network. Within the whole project, I combine the theory and the realization of this system, achieve the purpose of understanding theories and handling the practical experience, incarnate the characteristic of a master's research paper.
