Design And Construction For Local Transmission Network Of Dalian Mobile Co., Ltd

The transmission network is the whole telecommunication foundation as the carrier of all kinds of service network. In this paper, through investigating the planning and implementation of Dalian Mobile transmission network, the attentive problems are concluded. Furthermore the development direction of Dalian local transmission network is proposed.After addressing the construction of Dalian Mobile transmission network reasons, the master direction policy of planning and construction is presented. Based on the direction principle, the planning and building policy of triple base networks such as pipe network, optic cable network and equipment network is brought up. Then associating the concrete cases, the first phase construction scheme and arrangement of transmission network are worked out. In the planning, the importance of transmission assemble layer and platform is demonstrated. After finishing the first phase, according to the service requirement, the transmission network scheme facing to 3G service network is designed. The MSTP technology solution scheme based on SDH is addressed. Finally, through comparing with the ATM,WDM/CWMD,RPR and MSTP mainstream technologies, the transmission network construction and development in future should be using the MSTP technology based on SDH. When the ASON technology getting mature, the MSTP OVER ASON or WDM OVER ASON can be used in core layer and the MSTP technology will be used in converge layer.
