Virtual instrument (Ⅵ) is the product of modern computer technique, instrument technique and other new technique. The users can define and design theirⅥs which have functions of measuring according to the specific demand with the help of computer, basic hardwares and programming technologies.Environment and energy problems urge Electric Vehivle undergo a development apex. Electric Vehivle is a mostly style of automobile engineering at present and future. In order to estimate the capability of vehivle, a mass of data acquisition and analysis for Electric Vehicle must be performed. It is a long-term and very complicated stage to investigate Electric Vehivle. A data acquisition and analysis system that has strong function and better transplant is needed to be developed.Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) is a complicated multi-input and multi-output control system. It is a sub project of Electric Vehivle. Storage battery provide power for it also. In developing the AMT, not only the selection of design project and hardware debugging, but also the adjusting and improvement of the software aer all depend on the data acquisition and analysis system. So, the data acquisition and analysis system is the indispensable instrument and important part of the developing of AMT system, whose goodness or badness directly influences the performance of the system and efficiency of the developing.The author participates in two projects. They are the data acquisition and analysis system of Elcetric Vehicle and the data acquisition and analysis system of the testing bench for AMT. The Virtual Instrument technology is applied in them. Data Acquisition (DAQ) card involve interior DAQ card and exterior DAQ card.The exterior DAQ card that is composed by DSP2407 chip is applied in the data acquisition system of the testing bench. NI Co. have software drivers for interior DAQ card. The software drivers are empoldered by VC for exterior DAQ card in the paper.The software of this system is accomplished with the most popular graphic language LabView. The LabVIEW and VISA are introduced in the paper. Some programs are written based on VISA. The system is composed of two modules that are the data acquisition and analysismoule and the reverse control module. The data acquisition and analysis moule can accept data and store and analyse it. The reverse control module answer for transmitting command to the hardware controller. The USB serial communication is adopted.Trough experiment, the systemshows working stability, friendly user interface, high precision. It offers a reliant gist to development of data acquisition and analysis system.There are many data acquisition and analysis systems about eclectric vehicle. The author bring forward some ways and optimized projects based on own experience and the others.
