Research, Application And Optimization Of High Availability Database

The database system plays an important role in the independent satellite navigating system of China, and is the core of data management in the earth station. From the view of application in engineering, with the background of the constructing of a earth station in the independent satellite navigating system of China, this dissertation researches in the theory, application and optimization of the high availability(HA) database system, and presents a detailed design which had been actualized. The major work is as following:1. We configure the hardware and software of the HA database system based on the technology of Oracle RAC, install the database software, configure the network services, execute the experiment of database coherence and functions of failover and load balance, and analyze the results.2. To meet the requirement of the HA database system in the constructing of a earth station in the independent satellite navigating system of China, we design a feasible scheme of HA database system, present detailed method of configuration of hardware and software, and actualize it.3. We present the design of the applications of database, and provide some key codes.4. The technology of database optimization is discussed; we research the primary optimizing methods, and present our optimization in practice.All the designs and optimization of the HA database system have been used in the application of our project. We have gotten high level achievement.
