Along with the hospital information system (HIS) striding from traditional "face the hospital business management" to "face the clinical medical information integration" digital stage, the development of the electronic medical record became the essential topic in realizing HIS. The electronic medical record widespread application has the significant promoter action to the medicine development. The electronic medical record can abundantly record the medical history, surmounting the time and the spatial limit. In the developed countries, like US, Japan, many universities, the development facility and the merchants devote to the research of this domain. Also each kind folk and government's standardization body develop this kind of standard work. The government department also positively participates in this process.The extensive application of the electronic medical record has the significant promoter action to the medicine development. At present, the development of electronic medical record has been restricted from medical record structure, memory, operation, exchange of data and security restriction and so on. Because of the highly complexity of electronic medical record which involves the hospital information, although it has made progress in different aspects, the integral electronic medical record system still has not been established. In this paper , we expatiate on the study background of "research on electronic medical record system" according to the concept of the electronic medical record, the concept of electronic medical record system, the goal and significance of developing electronic medical record, present research situation of electronic medical record and so on and bring up the contents and the goal of the development.Although the electronic medical record has the broad prospect, at the present stage, the domestic electronic medical record just in underway, and is not mature in technology lacking of the business qualification standard, each medical service information system has different forms. The manifestation is restricted in the writing, which have not manifested the advantage of computerized management, information management, and the transmission and sharing. In order to solve this, we proposed a more perfect and practical electronic medical record system model and have given the partial implementation of subsystems.The electronic medical record should include following several principal aspects: First, it is the input and edition of information. The medical record information includes the home page, the doctor's advice, the hospitalized records, the illness records (common illness record, record of before operation, record of after operation and so on), the record of leaves the hospital, each kind of result reports of inspection, the phantom picture, the nursing information and so on. The electronic medical record system must provide an interface of input edition, must reserve the interface with other systems exchanging data (e.g. hospital information management system, medicine imagery processing system and so on).Second, it is the storage and transmission of information. The medical record information should store in the way of data sheet or text, and must provide the way of transforming medical information to other medical institutes.Third, it is inquiry, statistics and printing of the medical record information. This system provides the function of inquiring information to the authorized user; it may carry on the statistics to the medical record information, produces various graph; it has the function of printing the medical record and giving the paper of medical record to the patient.Fourth, it is the security protection of the medical record information. Because the patient information belongs to individual privacy information, the electronic medical record should have the function of encryption and the security protection. This system must guarantee that only authorized doctor can overwrite the medical record and increase the new medical record material, and should guarantee that the user without authorization can not overwrite and rework the electron medical record.Fifth, it is the monitor of medical record quality. Through monitoring the limitation of medical record input time and medical record content is whether complete or not, the system enhances the quality of medical record.This paper describes the current situation of electronic medical records at home and abroad. Through system requirement analysis of the electronic medical record system, this article has carried mainly on the system design explanation in terms of the functional design,using Eclipse as development platform. It uses standard electronic medical record form to design storage of medical record and takes the first floor database with Access. The overall system is divided into 11 function modules: The electronic medical record writing module, the trace management module, the quality control module, the medical record printing module, the medical record inquiry module, the doctor's advice module, the electronic signature module, the information module, the maintenance module, intermediate level of data accessing, the data interface module, has implemented the main function of electronic medical record and the conformity with other hospital system. It emphatically designs and implements the electronic medical record trace management algorithm. Design and implementation of this algorithm can be used to achieve different electronic medical records compared with the two repeatedly contrast, be able to meet basic electronic medical records right now traces management's requirements. In order to add the system function in the process of the algorithm. It has implemented the functions of electronic signature, creating medical record, querying medical record, deleting medical record and modifying the medical record. It provides several ways of implementing medical record printing. Such as repeat printing, continues printing, printing of choosing the page, dividing pages for printing and the neat printing automatically and so on, It shows the algorithm of printing of divided the page and continues printing.The further work is mainly in two aspects:First, completeness and implementation of other module functions of the system;Second, it should automatically gather various physiological signals to enter the system.
