| Security is still a problem being paid attention widely. Traditional analog video surveillance products can't meet the needs of the society, and it will be replaced gradually by digital products. The research and application of the third generation video surveillance system relying on the network attached great importance by academics, industry and the user department, and triggered a technological revolution of video surveillance industry. The embedded products with low cost, small size, low power consumption, fully automatic, strict timing and high stability, will be the main product in the Post-PC Era. It's the development trend that designing and developing the highly intelligent and unmanned surveillance system with the concept of embedded system. The target is implementing an embedded video recording system for Security.This paper has presented the design and the realization methods of an embedded video recording system for Security. The CPU is the microprocessor, S3C2410A, with ARM 9 core and the embedded operating system is embedded Linux. The images captured by the system can be displayed on LCD. And the hard disk can be used through the IDE interface in the system. The system can meet the needs of the general surveillance system. And it has a sample video images server being accessed by users with internet explorer. The analog camera gets the CVBS, and the CVBS is decoded into digital video signal in the ITU-R BT 656 standard. With the controlling of CPLD, the data is saved in cache. Then the CPU reads the data, processes it, displays it and save it into the hard disk. At present, the digital video surveillance systems on the market often have higher prices. It can be applied to intelligent buildings, high-grade residential places and so on. It can be helpful to crime prevention, and enhancing people's sense of security. If it is necessary, the system can provide clues for the police. Most functions are implentmented and it is a design with application worth. |
