Research And Application Of Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm In Power Communication Network Management

Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a new kind of evolutionary computation. The paper deeply researches the PSO, introduces its principle, basic process, using process, settings of parameters and so on. And in the paper some different experiments are carried out for the influence factors of the inertia weight and the PSO ability of finding the best, then analyses the results of these experiments. In this paper we improved the PSO in which the random inertia weight and the discrete idea are introduced, so it can jump out from local trap and can be used to solve discrete problems. In the paper we set up the best repair path and the best routing models which are the two facets of the power communication network management. Then we make the improved PSO to practice on above models, it can quickly find out the best path and best routing which testified the feasibility and efficiency of PSO in solving discrete problems.
