With the development of technology and improvement of people's living standard, the consumer is gradually individual and diversiform for the product's demand. Facing the unpredictable market, enterprise must be able to satisfy the demand for the market. Reusable Process Planning (RPP) technology based on network technology and database technology can effectively shorten design cycle, raise the quality and efficiency of design, decrease the cost of the products, and increasingly strengthen market competition.This thesis expatiates on the theory and architecture and primary content of Reusable Design (RD) technology and Reusable Process Design (RPP) technology, study the feasibility and practicability of some important technology about Reusable Process Design, adopt a special knowledge representation to describe reusable process design information and make use of "FenHua "to realize knowledge acquisition about fuzzy knowledge.Craft database system is the mostly important support of CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) system. To some extent, the essence of process design is a process that craft data is visited, used, dealt with and generated. This thesis expatiates on data base design technology. Based on the detailed analysis of the craft data's characteristic and sort and the craft database's component part, the author build craft database through detailed conceptual design and logical design and physical design for data base.the application and research of Web database technology becomes increasingly wide, which can make a close combination between Database technology and Web technology.Combining Web database technology and Reusable Process Design(RPP) technology, the author develop the model of the database system, through which the designer may acquire directly process design information and acquire indirectly similar process design information from a lot of historical data in craft database as the demand for the new product's design is put forward. Moreover ,the above mentioned will be a great help for the commercial and practical CAPP system based on craft data and Reusable Process Planning technology in the future.
