With the high development of personal data communications, people are not satisfied with accessing to Internet immovably. This paper is studying how to implement develop platform of mobile terminal in CNGI. And it put emphasis on Linux device driver of mobile terminal. First the paper describe the design of mobile terminal in detail. The design of hardware consists of FS2410, FPGA, BBP and RF. The design of software consists of Bootloader, Linux kernel, Linux device driver and applications base on Qte. Following the description of principle of Linux device driver, we present the flow charts of necessary steps, and also some key data structures are expounded. In this thesis, we also discuss the typical embedded system GUI designer Qte, which is used comprehensively. There are some important techniques to build the environment for Qte and how to use this tool to design own applications. At the same time we know Linux+ARM is being paid more and more attention as a embedded system technology at present. Based on the analysis of embedded develop platform FS2410 and the project software and hardware design, a implementation of develop platform of mobile terminal is presented. The driver of mobile terminal was develped after deep study of char device driver in Linux2.4 and the microprocessor S3C2410, and also its GUI. As a result,embedded system development be used in wireless communication is implemented.
