Infrared image guidance is a mainly study direction of precision guidance, a high-speed IR image tracking processor is researched in this paper. The traditional tracking algorithms are analyzed and compared. According to practical system design, tracking algorithm is used, which is based on Mean Absolute Difference. Field Programmable Gate Array is used to calculate the mean absolute difference value parallel. A tracking processor made of digital signal processor and Large Scale programmable logic component is introduced in this paper. Processor has favorable real-time and steady characteristic, because of parallel process data, reasonable frame and dynamic task allocation scheme. It is proved by experiment that the tracking processor has favorable real-time and steady characteristic on aiming ground targets in complicated background. |
