With the development of computer and network technology, network game is popular all over the word. It deeply influences people's learning, work and life. Some experts and scholars introduce network game into education, designing and developing educational game software. The problems of how to design and develop educational game software with which parents are satisfied and that students like, and how to combine education with game, has become a hotspot.At present, the oversea research about educational game is relatively ripe. according to the spirit of "going out, using them" principle, the paper proposes to contrast and analyze the existing domestic and oversea educational game software for middle and primary school students.
