Resent years, the construction of information and intelligence in all trades and professions has become more and more popular. The whole society's demand on the efficiency of all walks of life has also become higher and higher, especially the service industries. Take the out-patient service of the hospital for example, queuing management is unavoidable. In order to shorten the waiting time and create a better condition for the patients, the Hospital Diagnosis Queuing System emerges as times demand.The article bases mainly on the project -- the Development of The Hospital Diagnosis Queuing System of Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM. It firstly tells us the present situation of the technology of Hospital Diagnosis Queuing. And then it analyzes the specific requirement to the system and puts forward an overall design plan based on enormous investigation and research. The article includes hardware design and software design .In the former part, it introduces the basic theoretical principle of the asynchronous serial communication, analyzes the importance and specific principles of the impedance matching based on the RS-485 Standard and then deals with the hardware design and the basic working process of the HUB and the calling terminal. In the latter part, according to Object Oriented Concepts and making use of the Universal Modeling Language, this article puts forward the analyses and design of the main-function-module and introduces the design and implementation of the data interface with Hospital Information System. At last it describes the concrete implementation of the system and gives some actual-effect pictures of the already-developed works.
