Along with the globalization of economy and the development of science and technology, world has entered a brand-new times. In the times, knowledge instead of traditional labor force and capital has become the most important resource. Knowledge has become the focus of knowledge management since Teece put forward the concept for the first time in 1977.Library knowledge transfer is that library provides the better knowledge service for reader with the use of the theory and technology of knowledge management. In the process, the library will excavate, select, suit and stock the internal and external knowledge resource, and transfers the knowledge that readers need to. In practicing, the service methods of expert service and reference service is the material form of library knowledge transfer. In the process, the knowledge that library will transfer is not the information resource that library stocks, but is the professional techniques and methods that librarians search information. And library knowledge transfer is different with the information transfer. Library information transfer belongs to information management, but library knowledge transfer belongs to knowledge management, and information transfer is the foundation and knowledge transfer is extent and development of information transfer.The focus of the dissertation is the library knowledge transfer, and the dissertation has analyzed the meaning, feature, effect and factors of knowledge transfer in detail.
