Application Of VOCSCUM To The Development Of Several Majors Of The Engineering Higher Vocational Education System Practical Research

On the basic of the theory of the fundamental subjects in higher vocational education, the study focused on the core problem of the reform of higher vocational education —curriculum reform. After surveying the national higher vocational education, it summarized its exiting problems. Based on the level of practical research, it developed 3 IT majors with the application of VOCSCUM.Higher vocational education is an important way to popularize higher education in China. It has achieved a lot in the last few years, but compared with the social development, there is still a long way to go. The reason that caused it is the system deviation in personnel cultivating in higher vocational education. Meanwhile curriculum is the most direct cause for the system deviation.Curriculum development is a big and complicated project, it needs the co-operation of state, enterprises and schools. The theory and models of it also vary from one to another, but most of them are on the basic level. Choosing the curriculum development on the school-level, the study developed the course on Computer Application, Internet Technology and Software Technology with the help of VOCSCUM. After fully analyzing the post capacity, the study discussed the style, structure, content, the arrangement and evaluation of these three courses, and introduced them in the form of case study in the paper.In order to meet the demand in higher vocational education, the study didn't stop at the theory discussion, but went directly to the development stage. The study created itself in the research and improved itself in the creation. From practice to theory and theory to practice, it offers a lively case study for the reform of higher vocational education.
