As a result of different load influence, Dam, bridge and high building after completion often can occur the distortion, this kind of distortion in the permission scope is normal, but if the distortion surpasses the certain limit, then it is possible to affect the normal operation, even the building has the security problem. Therefore It is very significant to carries on the distortion monitor to the dam, the bridge and building after the completion. It is the same to building surrouding when excavating the large ground. At present the main monitor method is the artificial group measurement and guardsagainst. But the group measurement and guardsagainst must consume the massive manpower. Because the monitor method is backward, it is difficultly to obtain the omen information, so we can't achieve the early warning the effect. Therefore if is very significant to make the monitor system automation.Along with the performance enhancement of 32-bit embedded processor and the wireless network technology fast development, building distortion monitor system with the OMAP microprocessor, RTOS and the wireless WAN technology has possibility of the real-time gathering building distortion information. Also this way reduces the massive manpower and the resource, greatly enhances the working efficiency and people security.This article shows the producing reason of the topic, domestic and foreign research situation; introduces the distortion monitor principle, then according to project demand and the situation of embedded system, gives the overall solution; then introduces in detail embedded system development board OMAP5912 and the circuit of interface, include the LCD and keyboard, the circuit of measurement the temperature, the circuit of the humidity and the pressure, the communication interface of distortion monitor, the circuit of the power and TLV320AIC23; then explains the development environment of VC, Linux and CCS, as well as customs Linux and DSP/BIOS OS; gives the example of Linux and the driver module of DSP/BIOS, explains in detail the development process of AIC23, especially the function, construct, the procedure of control; then introduces the overall design of application, the interface, the communication module, the study and the automatic survey process of the...
