Development Of Data Service For TETRA Trunking Terminal

As a new generation of digital trunking system, TETRA digital trunking communication system could provide multiple services and implement many applications. Data service is one of the most basic and important parts in the TETRA digital trunking communication system. Terminal based on TETRA digital trunking mobile communication system could send and receive status and short data service message, and achieve navigation and location through short data service.This paper introduces TETRA digital trunking mobile communication system, and makes an analysis of status , short data service message and navigation service in TETRA digital terminal, and develops ways of TETRA digital trunking terminal.According to the demand from Beijing 800MHz wireless digital government network, the general solution for development of data service of terminal is given, and the principle of data service is stated in detail, and the sending and receiving of the status and short data service message are developed, and additive functions of navigation and location of the trunking terminal are supplied ,and software and hardware of trunking terminal are studied.The data service of TETRA terminal is developed though the tool of EVC++, based on Windows CE embedded operating system to implement sending and receiving status and short data service messages; the communication between software modules is implemented by using the MSMQ Microsoft message queue, the storage and quering function for data service is implemented by using codebase database access technology.
